Class of 2015'

This Fall 2015, we have our greatest success rate of 15 students who have achieved Athletic Scholarships to Top American Universities. They are set to start their American aventure this August, and we wish them the best of luck! 

Sam Brotherton - University of Wisconsin

Sam has signed a soccer scholarship to the University of Wisconsin . Sam is a gifted young footballer, and most notably this year  made history as part of the NZ u20 National Team by qualifying for round 16 at the 2015 u20 World Cup.

Wisconsin is known as a powerhouse school and competes under the NCAA Divison I Big Ten Conference. Sam will be represting the school as the Badgers, in the their team colours Cardinal and White.  Good Luck Sam and Go Badgers!

Troy Phoa - Boston University

Troy has  signed a scholarship to play soccer at Boston University starting in August! Troy is a phenomical player, previously being selected as part of the NZ U20 squad and being called up to compete as part of Auckland City FC First Team, who are currentl y one of the top teams in the world after their 3rd place finish at the 2014 Fifa Club World Cup.

Troy will compete as part of the Boston University Terriers, who are part of the Patriot League, which Is a Division I conferemce. Go on Terriers! 

Sam Copp - Western Illinois University

Sam has signed a soccer scholar to Western Illinois University. Sam is a talent Goalkepper in NZ soccer, attaining international caps as part of the NZ u17 Team at the u17 Fifa World Cup. Sam is also a member of the NZ u20 squad preparing for the 2017 u20 World Cup.

Sam will be competing as art of the Western Illinois Leathernecks, who play in the Division I Missouri Valley Football Conference ,The Summit League. Good Luck Sam, and Go Leathernecks!

Nick Forrester - State University of New York, Buffalo

After completing his Freshman season at Butler University, appearing in six matches Nick has transferred to the Stae University of New York , Buffalo. Nick has been a key  member to the NZ National Team and started in all three games of the 2017 u17 FIFA World Cup.

The State University of New York, Buffalo compete within the NCAA I Mid- American Conference . Nick will be competing as part of the Bulls , in their team colours Blue and White. Good Luck Nick, and Go Bulls!

Jono Mannes - Francis Marion University

Jono has signed a Soccer scholarship to Francis Marion University.  Jono is a talented Goal Keeper, competing both nationally and internationaaly as part of the NZ u19s Team, and is also a  signed Goal Keeper for Auckland United FC.

Francis Marion University is located in Florence County, South Caroline and competes under the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference. Jono will be joining as part of the Patriots, competing in their team colours Red, White and Blue. Good luck Jono and Go Patriots!

George Tighe - New Haven University

George has signed a Soccer schoalrship with New Haven University. George plays as right midfielder, and has competed nationally as part of the Tauranga Boys College u18s.  His most notable achievement is attaining 6th place alongside his team in the 2013 NZ Secondary Schools National Tournament.

The Univeristy of New Haven competes as part of the  NCAA Division II Northeast-10-Conference. George will be representing the Chargers,  under their team colour Blue and Gold. Good luck George and Go Chargers!

Kristen Molloy - Ball State University

Kristen has signed a soccer scholarship with Ball State University.  Kristen has been a promising soccer talent in NZ womens soccer, competing nationally and internationally as part of the 2012 NZ u17 Womens team that won the OFC Womens Championships.  Kristen was also selcted into 2013 NZ Talent Acceleration Program for Womens u20s.

Ball State University is located in  Muncie, Inidana.  Kristen will be competing as part of the Cardinals, taking on teamns in the Mid- American Division I conferene.  Good luck Kristen and Go Cardinals!

Abigal Roper - IONA College

Abigal has signed a soccer scholarship with IONA College. Abby is a nationally ranked soccer Goal Keeper in New Zealand, represeting NZ as part of the u17 Womens team in the u17s World Cup 2014.  Abby also competes as part of the NZ u18 development squad that competed in the ASB National Womens League team finishing 2nd.

Iona College is located in New York and competes in the NCAA Division I Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Abby will compete as part of the Gaels representing their team in Maroon and Gold. Good lucky Abby and Go Gaels!

Matt Wylie - Princeton University

Matt has attained a rowing scholarship at  Princeton University starting this August!  Matt has achieved great success in his rowing career so far; being a member of National Championship Team for u16s in 2012. Then went on to be selected to Coxswain the 2014 Junior World Rowing Championships in Hamburg, where the crew attained a Bronze Medal.

Matt will contest as part of the Princeton Tigers, who compete in the Division I Easteren Association of Rowing Colleges. Good Luck Matt, and go Tigers!

Henry Finnis - University of Cumberlands

Henry has signed a Soccer sholarship to the University of Cumberlands. Henry is an excellent player, most notably competing as part of the Canterbury Under 21s, as part of the ASP Youth League.

The University of Cumberlands competes in the  NAIA Division I Mid- South Conference. Henry will be competing as part of the Patriots. Good Luck Henry and Go Patriots.

Matt Taylor and James McLean - George Washington University

Matt Taylor and James McLean have both signed Water Polo Scholarships with George Washington University. Both the boys recently represented NZ at the Junior Mens Competition in Instanbul.

George Washington University is a member of the Atlantic Conference at the NCAA Division 1 Level. The boys will be playing as the George Washington Colonials.

Brittany Robertson - University of Arizona

Brittany Robertson has signed a Gymnastics Scholarship with the University of Arizona! Brittany has achieved great success competing at the 2014 Commonweath Games in Glasgow and will be moving to Arizona in August 2015.

The University of Arizona competes with the NCAA Division I Pac-12 Conference. Brittany will be representing her team the Wildcats in their school colours Cardrinal and Navy. Good Luck Britanny, We wish you all the best!

Nicole Chestnut - Madonna University

Nicole has attained a Volley scholarship to play at Madonna University. Nicole  is an accomplished  Volleyball player having previously been selected as part of the u17 and u19 NZ Beach Volleyball Squad. Nicole has also won the NZ Youth Games in 2013, and placed 2nd in the NZ u19 Age Group Champs. 

Madonna is located in Livonia, Michigan . Nicole will be competing as part of the Crusaders under her Blue and Gold team colours. The Crusaders compete  in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, which is Diviosn II in the NAIA. Good Luck Nicole, and go Crusaders!

Niko Vazquez - Bluefield College

Niko has attained a tennis scholarship to compete at Bluefield College.  Niko is a skillful player, ranking as top junior player at Northcote Tennis Club, and was also a semi finalist of the 2014 Albany Toyota Northern Junior Easter championships, a top regional tournament.

Bluefield college competes as part of the NAIA Division I Mid- South Conference.  Niko will compete as the Rams starting from this August. Good luck Niko, and Go Rams!

Miki Nobuzawa - St. Bonaventure University

Miki has attained a tennis scholarship to St. Bonaventure University. Miki is a very talented player, who achieved exceptional results at the U16 National Championship 2015 where he Won the doubles with partner Finn Reynolds and same Runner Up in the Singles. 

St Bonaventure is located in Allegany, New York. Miki will be competitng as part of the Bonnies, with the NCCA Division 1 Atlantic 10 Conference. Good Luck Miki, and Go Bonnies!
