Play Atlantic Recruit of the Week - Sarah Wardenburg

Sarah is a tennis player from Auckland, New Zealand who is looking to participate in college tennis in the United States.

Sarah is 17 years old and has been playing tennis since she was 9. She is currently ranked within the top 100 in New Zealand for her age group. She has an IFT ranking of 1774 and has played tennis for her county (New Zealand representative), her school (New Zealand champions), and her region (Northern). She also coaches young tennis players at club level.

Sarah has achieved outstanding athletic success, participating in many competitions at both national and international levels. She has won many competitions, including the 2013 Wither Hills West End Cup (U16 Girls), and she was runner up in the 2015 Auckland Spring Open (Women's Singles). Additionally, she was awarded Tennis Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013 at Kristin School. Sarah has also achieved increadible academic success throughout her high school career. She achieved NCEA Level One overall Merid endorsements in English, Geography, and PE as well as an NCEA Level Two overall Merit endorsement in PE. In 2011, she received an Award for Excellence in Sports Studies.

When Sarah is not playing tennis, she enjoys skiing, spending time with her family, and traveling.
