Play Atlantic Recruit of the Week - Saranya Nagpal

Saranya is a nationally ranked tennis player from New Zealand. She is 17 years old and will graduate in November 2015; she hopes to participate in college tennis in the United States.

Saranya is a self motivated person with great passion for tennis and a zeal to do well in life. She is from India by origin, but currently lives in Auckland, New Zealand and would like to continue her undergraduate studies in the United States of America with a 100% scholarship.

Tennis has always been a passion of Saranya's. Under her captaincy, she was the CBSE Gold Medalist at Indian High School, Dubai in 2011. With some good Title wins under her belt,  she became Asia under-14 Number One in January 2012. Currently, Saranya plays for her school in New Zealand. She finished third in the recently concluded Auckland Open under 18 Tennis Tournament. In February 2015, she became the captain of Royal Oak Racquets Club Caro Bowl Girls Junior Tennis team.

Saranya is pursuing level 3 from Mt Albert Grammar School, Auckland. She has chosen Business Studies, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, and English as her subjects. In a short span of six months, her school in Auckland has reciprocated well to her efforts by giving her the coveted opportunity for training as a Peer Mediator and Peer support leader. Saranya was also given the privilege to represent the school in Auckland Readers and Writers festival in May 2015.
